How does StoryNative.uk handle images and media?
StoryNative.uk uses only lawfully obtained images and media: licensed stock photography, official press images, promotional materials supplied by rights holders, and original photography taken by our own contributors. Every image is assessed for provenance and proper crediting before publication.
Press images and official promotional materials are obtained directly from studios, networks, publishers, publicists, or their authorised representatives. We also use images from reputable press agencies under licence. All such content is attributed to the original source or copyright holder. Original photography by StoryNative.uk staff is credited to the photographer. We do not use unauthorised user‑submitted images without verified consent. How can I submit a takedown request?
If you believe that StoryNative.uk has published an image or other media that infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send a detailed takedown request to copyright@storynative.uk. We aim to acknowledge receipt within two business days and to resolve the matter promptly.
Your request must include: (a) your full name and contact information; (b) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (c) the exact URL(s) where the allegedly infringing material appears; (d) a statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (e) a declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf. What about corrections for misattributed or incorrectly credited content?
For misattributed images or media, please email copyright@storynative.uk with the relevant URL and the correct attribution. We will amend the credit line or, if the error is material, add a correction notice in accordance with our Editorial Policy and Corrections Policy.
Patrick Nolan reviews all attribution claims. If a credit error has caused reputational harm, we will also consider issuing a formal correction or apology. Where the correct rights holder cannot be identified, we may remove the content and work to secure properly licensed alternatives.
