Tip Us

StoryNative.uk, operated by Strait Line Media Ltd., a private company limited by shares registered in Gibraltar (company number 129570) with its registered office at Suite 8, Leanse Place, 50 Town Range, Gibraltar GX11 1AA, invites you to share information that serves the public interest in UK entertainment, showbiz, television, streaming, film, music, celebrity culture and royal coverage. Our editorial team, led by Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Cole, treats every tip with professional discretion and rigorous fact-checking overseen by Standards & Fact-Checking Lead Patrick Nolan.

What makes a good tip for StoryNative.uk?

A strong tip is specific, verifiable and relevant to our UK-focused editorial remit. We seek developments in celebrity news, television and streaming platform announcements, entertainment industry stories, public interest matters, institutional wrongdoing within the media or entertainment sectors, and data that reveals systematic problems affecting audiences or industry professionals.

Good tips include concrete details such as names, dates, locations and documentary evidence. For example, a tip about a major casting change on a UK television series should include the production company, the specific show, the individuals involved and any corroborating materials like internal correspondence or scheduling documents. We also value tips about undisclosed conflicts of interest in entertainment journalism, breaches of celebrity privacy standards, or patterns of misconduct within production companies or talent agencies.

We do not publish rumours, speculation or unverified gossip. A tip that provides original documents, photographs, video footage or audio recordings with clear provenance is far more likely to lead to a story. If you have information about a systemic issue—such as unfair labour practices on a streaming production or misleading advertising in affiliate marketing—please include any supporting data or witness accounts.

How should you reach us with a tip?

Send story tips directly to tips@storynative.uk. For time-sensitive news that requires immediate editorial attention, use newsdesk@storynative.uk, which is monitored by Managing Editor Adam Pryor during UK business hours. Press releases and official announcements should go to press@storynative.uk for distribution to the relevant editor.

Each email address is managed by a specific member of our team. Tips sent to tips@ are reviewed by Patrick Nolan and the relevant section editor—Isabelle Knight for television and streaming, Leon Carter for celebrity and royal news, or Grace Hollis for film and music. If you are unsure which address to use, info@storynative.uk will route your message to the appropriate department.

What should you include in your tip?

Provide the who, what, when and where of your story. Clearly state the individuals involved, the event or development, the date and location, and any relevant context. Attach supporting materials such as documents, screenshots, links or media files, but ensure they are not encrypted or password-protected unless you have prior arrangement with our team.

Indicate whether you are speaking on the record (your identity and information may be published), off the record (the information may be used but your identity will not be disclosed), or on background (the information may be used but attributed only to a general source, such as “a production insider”). If you request anonymity, please explain your reasons; we will assess your request under our celebrity privacy policy and relevant legal obligations.

How does StoryNative.uk verify tips?

Our Standards & Fact-Checking Lead Patrick Nolan oversees a rigorous verification process. Every tip is assessed for credibility, source reliability and evidentiary support. We cross-reference information against public records, industry databases, official statements and multiple independent sources before any editorial decision is made.

We never present rumours as facts. If a tip cannot be verified to our editorial standards, it will not be published. Our verification procedures are detailed in our fact-checking policy and sources and standards pages. We may contact you for additional information or clarification, and we reserve the right to decline any tip that does not meet our editorial criteria.

How do we protect your confidentiality?

We take your privacy seriously. If you submit a tip and request confidentiality, your identity and contact details will be protected to the fullest extent permitted by law. Legal matters regarding confidentiality should be directed to legal@storynative.uk. Our data handling practices are governed by our privacy policy, which explains how we store, process and protect personal information.

We will not disclose your identity to third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by a court order or other legal obligation. If you have concerns about legal exposure, you may wish to consult your own legal adviser before submitting a tip. Our compliance team can be reached at compliance@storynative.uk for questions about data protection or legal safeguards.

What happens after you submit a tip?

You will receive an acknowledgement within five working days. This does not guarantee that your tip will be pursued, but it confirms that your submission has been received and logged. If our editorial team decides to investigate further, a named editor or Patrick Nolan may contact you for additional details.

If you do not receive an acknowledgement within five working days, please follow up via tips@storynative.uk or use the general contact form on our contact page. For corrections to published stories, send details to corrections@storynative.uk under our corrections policy. We aim to respond to correction requests within three working days.
